Signing in
Sign in at my.rollov.app with your email and password, Google, Apple or a passkey. Accounts with the same verified email are joined, so signing in with Google after signing up by email lands in the same account.
- Passkeys: add one in Settings › Account while signed in, then use your fingerprint, face or device PIN to sign in next time.
- Forgot your password? Use Forgot your password? on the sign-in page to get a reset link by email.
- A short check guards the sign-in, sign-up and reset forms against bots.
Your profile
Settings › Account sets your profile picture: an emoji or a photo, shrunk on your device before it is saved. The account menu at the foot of the sidebar (or the side menu on a phone) shows it with your email and sync status, and has Settings, What's new, Help, Sign out and Check for updates, which opens About Rollov and checks at once.
Import
Settings › Import & export brings in:
- Todoist CSV exports: one project per file, with subtasks, priorities, labels as tags, comments as notes, and due dates.
- Markdown files: checklist items become tasks in a project named after the file (indented items become subtasks), and a file without a checklist becomes a note.
Rollov shows what each file will make before writing anything, and Undo right after takes the whole import back. Notes can also be imported on the Notes page (Import notes), contacts on the People page (Contacts) and calendars in Settings › Calendar (Calendar files).
Export
Settings › Import & export › Export saves everything on the device as a file:
- Backup (JSON): every task, note, project, person and event, with every change and every day page.
- Readable copy (Markdown): notes, projects, people, and each day's list as it was.
- Contacts: your people as a vCard (phones, Apple Contacts) or a CSV (Google Contacts).
The file is not encrypted, even when your account is, so keep it somewhere safe. With the app lock on, the export waits until you unlock.
Plans and pricing
Rollov is in early access, and every feature is free for now, with no card needed. If paid plans come, you will hear about them first.
What's new
Settings › About Rollov › What's new lists what changed in each release, in plain words. All updates shows every release.
Sign out
Sign out is in the account menu. Signing out removes your data from this device; it stays in your account and comes back when you sign in again. Sign out while online, so changes made on this device have synced first.
Delete your account
Settings › Account › Delete account deletes your account and everything in it, for good. It needs a recent sign-in: type your password again, or sign in again with Google, Apple or your passkey. To delete an account without the app, see deleting your account.
Still stuck?
Write to support@rollov.app with what happened and which device you were on. Questions, bugs and ideas are all welcome.
In the app: Settings › Help has the guided tour and a walkthrough for each part.
